By invitation of Senator Sanders, NY Times Reporter, Bob Herbert, visited the Health Center in Plainfield on Aug. 11,2009, to determine for himself whether Sen. Sander's claim that FQHCs in Vermont had "essentially solved the problem of primary care" for local residents. In his August 15 article Hard to Believe, Herbert stated "In the areas served by the centers in Vermont, the problem, of access to primary care does, in fact, seem to have been solved."

Portsmouth, NH – 2/15/08 - TD Banknorth, through the TD Banknorth Charitable Foundation, has awarded $10,000 to the Dental Center at Families First Health & Support Center.  Representatives from TD Banknorth and the Families Dental Center recently gathered to celebrate the grant.
