Thank you to all who participated, sponsored or in any way contributed to the tremendously successful 2007 Primary Care Conference held May 22-23, 2007 at the Lake Morey Resort, Fairlee, Vermont. |
Each year we endeavor to improve upon, expand and create more value in our conference program. This year was no exception. In an expansion over previous years, the 2007 conference program consisted of three concurrent tracks — clinical, board, and financial/administration. Conference attendance was up 40 percent over the 2006 conference, and attendee evaluations have shown near perfect marks for session speakers, facilitators, content and logistics.
I would like to give special thanks and consideration to the sponsors by whose generosity our conference was possible:
Although we have just completed this year’s Primary Care Conference, we are already in the early planning stages for our 2008 Primary Care Conference. Please feel free to contact Hank Osborne (HOsborne@bistatepca.org) with any questions or comments.
As you know, Bi-State is a non-profit organization whose members include the health care safety net providers in New Hampshire and Vermont. The week of August 5-11 is Community Health Center Week. The purpose of Health Center Week is to demonstrate the value of the community health centers and bring visibility to their work.
This year's theme is America's Health Centers, "Your Health Care Home." This will be an exciting and informative week, and I hope that you will be able to attend some of the events that are now in the planning stages. For more information about the week’s events, please check the schedule on our website.
Thank you once again for your help in promoting health care access for all.
